Suprisingly sturdy and easy to install
I was impressed with the solidness of the product. I only needed to buy a larger socket handle for the leverage needed, but installation was as easy as removing existing bolts and replace with included bolts. I weigh nearly 250lbs and after installing these I was impressed with how sturdy they are. No flex, even under my weight. Not just cosmetic, these are completely functional and attractive. Overall a great value compared to buying from an installer or dealer.

GOOD LOOKING & EASY TO INSTALL
Could not be more satisfied. Good looking and seem to be of very good material. I decided to install the step bars myself. After laying everything out on each side of my truck so that I wouldn't get parts mixed up. I removed the body to frame bolts as instructed with my 18v impact wrench. Ater comparing the bolts sent with the kit I decided to reuse the factory body bolts that came with the truck. The installation was a piece of cake. I ask my wife to hold up one end while I started all the bolts and then I went back and tightened them all down. Doing it this way made it easy to match bolt wholes. It may have taken a hour from start to finish.

Easy install, perfect fit
Have had these step bars for 6 months and am happy with the install and appearance. A note of caution, step only on the foot pads because the chrome is easily scratched. Happened on my passenger side - hmmm, guess I could cover it with a "No Step" sticker! They look great and I get lots of good comments on my Silverado HD Diesel. NO interference with the DEF tank on the right side, as is the case with many other bars. I called Westin technical and they assured me of this before I bought, very helpful telephone support. I installed myself in a little over an hour working from a creeper, but if you are putting them on a lower clearance vehicle you might need to raise the truck a bit.
